FORMATIVE PRUNING & THINNING
Formative Pruning is the process of shaping a tree when it is young. This develops the structure of the tree and encourages the tree to grow in the right direction and to allow for a stronger crown in the future.

TREE FELLING & WOODLAND MANAGEMENT

POLLARDING
Pollarding is a pruning system involving the removal of the upper branches of the tree, it is a method that keeps trees and shrubs smaller than they would normally grow. It is normally started once a tree or shrub reaches a certain height and annual Pollarding will then restrict the plant to that height.

SECTION FELLING & CROWN DISMANTLES
Section Felling Is the dismantling of a tree in sections particularly used in limiting situations. It is a highly skilled operation often using rigging or lowering techniques. With extensive experience in technical tree removal and rigging techniques we offer a worry free service in any situation.
STUMP REMOVAL & GRINDING
A tree stump can be disposed of in one of two ways - removal or grinding.
Depending on the size of the tree, the root system and other considerations you may chose either of those options to remove the stump from your property.
Stump Removal - Cutting off the root system, then digging the bulk of the stump out and lifting it away. Stump Grinding- This lets you avoid having to dig. After cutting off all the parts that can be removed a machine is then used to grind and shred the stump into mulch and chips.

CROWN REDUCTION
Crown reduction is a more extensive form of pruning to reduce the tree in height and/or spread of the crown.
It can be used to reduce the weight of potentially dangerous limbs, to balance a misshapen tree following for example storm damage or bad pruning. It can also be used to prevent trees obstructing or damaging buildings and properties or to prevent trees from interfering with overhead telephone and power lines.
